First Dates Ireland

Singletons; First Dates Ireland has reopened applications.

The famous First Dates restaurant was due to reopen its doors today for the first episode of the hit dating show. Always an entertaining watch, viewers were looking forward to the series getting back underway but with all of Dublin currently in lockdown, organisers have had to push out filming once again.

Forced to postpone things due to recently-introduced restrictions, show bosses took to Twitter last night to voice their disappointment at the delay.

“The #FirstDatesIRL restaurant was due to open its doors tomorrow but with the new restrictions, we’ve had to press pause. As disappointed as we are, safety is our priority. The restaurant might be empty for now, but it’ll be back open and buzzing with love before we know it.”

Reassuring fans that there is a silver lining to all of this, the powers that be have decided to reopen applications to the public. So, if you’re single and ready to mingle, this could be your chance.

Anyone over the age of 18 can apply for First Dates Ireland, so long as you’re single… obviously. Alternatively, you can apply to be a background diner which gives you prettty much the same experience just without the 20 odd cameras watching your every move. The choice is yours.
