Start of a new week, time to enjoy an old movie!

Four of the five movies start at 9pm, almost as if they knew some folk are looking for alternatives to Love Island…

The Bourne Legacy – ITV4 – 9pm

An expansion of the universe from Robert Ludlum’s novels, centred on a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose stakes have been triggered by the events of the previous three films.

Dumb & Dumber – Comedy Central – 9pm

After a woman (Lauren Holly) leaves a briefcase at the airport terminal, a dumb limo driver (Jim Carrey) and his dumber friend (Jeff Daniels) set out on a hilarious cross-country road trip to Aspen to return it.

Unsane – FilmFour – 9pm

A young woman (Claire Foy) is involuntarily committed to a mental institution, where she is confronted by her greatest fear – but is it real or a product of her delusion?

Taken – RTE One – 9pm

A retired CIA agent (Liam Neeson) travels across Europe and relies on his old skills to save his estranged daughter (Maggie Grace), who has been kidnapped while on a trip to Paris.

Crank – ITV4 – 11.40pm

Professional assassin Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) learns his rival has injected him with a poison that will kill him if his heart rate drops.
