X-Men: Days of Future Past – FilmFour – 6.40pm

The X-Men send Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants.

The World Is Not Enough – ITV4 – 8pm

James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) uncovers a nuclear plot while protecting an oil heiress (Sophie Marceau) from her former kidnapper, an international terrorist (Robert Carlyle) who can’t feel pain.

American Made – FilmFour – 9pm

The story of Barry Seal (Tom Cruise), an American pilot who became a drug-runner for the CIA in the 1980s in a clandestine operation that would be exposed as the Iran-Contra Affair.

The Gauntlet – ITV4 – 10.40pm

A hard but mediocre cop (Clint Eastwood) is assigned to escort a prostitute into custody from Las Vegas to Phoenix, so that she can testify in a mob trial. But a lot of people are literally betting that they won’t make it into town alive.

Eagle Eye – FilmFour – 11.15pm

Jerry (Shia LaBeouf) and Rachel (Michelle Monaghan) are two strangers thrown together by a mysterious phone call from a woman they have never met. Threatening their lives and family, she pushes Jerry and Rachel into a series of increasingly dangerous situations, using the technology of everyday life to track and control their every move.
