It’s that time of year again where the whole of Ireland prepares to settle in and watch The Late Late Toy Show on RTÉ, marking the unofficial beginning of the festive season.
While it’s fair to assume that the TV ratings on Friday night will be dominated by the annual special, that’s not to say there’ll be nothing else to get stuck in to if it really isn’t your thing.
As usual on a Friday, Graham Norton will be providing some stiff competition for Ryan Tubridy and this week’s line-up looks like the episode won’t disappoint.
Joining Graham on the sofa will be none other than former Girls Aloud member and X Factor judge Cheryl, who will be chatting about and performing her new single Love Made Me Do It.
As well as that, Hollywood funnyman turned serious actor Steve Carell will be discussing his upcoming drama movie Welcome To Marwen, the trailer which can be seen below and may just have you shedding a few tears.
If that’s not all, Creed star Michael B. Jordan will be talking about the new sequel to the 2015 boxing flick.
Also appearing will be veteran comedian Dawn French and actress Ruth Wilson. If there’s anything that will convince you to switch over from the Toy Show, it looks like BBC 1 is the place to be.
The Graham Norton Show gets underway at 10.35pm on Friday night.
