Former Love Island star Scott Thomas has announced plans for a new reality dating show.

Love Island may be on pause for this year but it sounds as though we'll be spoiled for choice when the time comes for filming to resume as former islander Scott Thomas has announced plans for his own reality dating show.

Called Parties in Paradise (catchy name there Scott), the show will be produced by Scott himself and is already on the lookout for singletons to take part. Announcing the news through his PR company, The Social PR, the show promises contestants the greatest summer of their lives.

Sharing a promotional poster for the programme to Instagram, it encouraged anyone interested in spending a summer at the most exclusive beach parties full of the world's hottest singles to get in touch by emailing [email protected] or [email protected]

The Sun reports that the show will see "young hotties" sail around on a lush yacht, visiting some of the best party destinations as they try to find love... basically Love Island but on a yacht. And as is the case with its rival show, heads are bound to turn, fights are bound to happen and drama is bound to kick off - the perfect recipe for must-watch Saturday night viewing.

According to an insider, the show is looking to recruit people who aren't already famous so you could be in with a chance yet. No release date has been announced but as it plans to go head to head with Love Island, it probably won't be for another few months at least. Plenty of time to get your affairs in order before you head off.
