The BBC’s Friday night chat king Graham Norton is among a host of stars whose massive salaries have been revealed today.
Given the size of some of the pay cheques, it’s understandable that some of those at Auntie Beeb were sweating this morning at the fear of a backlash, Gary Lineker being one of them.
Happy BBC salary day. I blame my agent and the other TV channels that pay more. Now where did I put my tin helmet?

While the Match Of The Day frontman will undoubtedly receive some flak for his £1,750,000 – £1,999,999 a year salary, he pales in comparison to Chris Evans who takes home £2,200,000 – £2,249,999 for presenting the breakfast show on Radio 2.
So where does everyone’s favourite chatty Corkman fit in? Graham Norton finishes behind Evans and Lineker in third place, taking between £850,000 and £899,999 back to his ma in Bandon.

Nice work if you can get it. The Graham Norton Show is consistently one of the highest-rated chat shows on both sides of the Irish Sea so it’s probably fair enough given how much the BBC is paying everyone else.
Any chance of a tenner, Graham?
