RTÉ kicked off their popular Home School Hub in late March last year, broadcasting school lessons in the hope of keeping young minds engaged while stuck at home.
Going down a treat with students and parents alike, even those who might have initially been cynical about the idea soon came around to it, with the overall response being a positive one.
And with schools now set to remain closed for another few weeks in an effort to curb the spread of Covid-19, RTÉ has confirmed that the Home School Hub will return to Irish tellies once again. Making its comeback from next week, the programme will kick off on Monday and will run for two hours daily – from 10am to 12noon with After School Hub to follow shortly after from 3:20pm to 4:20pm.
Making the announcement on social media earlier today, RTÉ’s Education Correspondent Emma O’Kelly tweeted to say that, due to short notice, content will be “a blend of new and existing material”.
More good news; RTÉ's Home School Hub is back from Monday, 2 hours now, 10-12 daily. After School Hub resumes too, 3,20-4,20. Due to short notice it'll be a blend of new & existing material. #publicservicemedia at its finest.
