Tuesday is here and if you’re looking to wrap it up with some movies on TV, then you’ve come to the right place.
Tonight we’ve got some Colin Farrell, a biopic of one of the most influential hip hop groups of all time and a classic 1990s comedy. If you manage to nab the remote before your football-loving housemate puts on the Champions League, then here are the best movies on TV to enjoy this evening.
City Slickers – Film4 – 6.45pm
The much-loved 1991 comedy western starring Billy Crystal, Daniel Stern and Bruno Kirby.
S.W.A.T. – Alibi – 9pm
Castleknock’s most famous son, Colin Farrell, stars in this 2003 thriller alongside Samuel L. Jackson, who we suspect has never even been to Castleknock. Willing to be proven wrong on this one.
Street Kings – TCM – 9pm
Another thriller, this time starring Keanu Reeves and Forest Whitaker and Hugh Laurie.
Limitless – Sky One – 10pm
This thrilling Tuesday continues as Bradley Cooper, Anna Friel and Robert De Niro appear in this 2011 sci-fi.
Straight Outta Compton – ITV 4 – 11.25pm
A 2016 biopic on the origins and subsequent success of hip hop pioneers NWA. Starring O’Shea Jackson Je as (fun fact), his own dad, Ice Cube.
