Home Alone tells the story of 8-year-old Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) who is left at home when his family go on holidays for Christmas. Delighted, Kevin manages quite well on his own until Harry and Marv, known as the Wet Bandits (Joe Pesci and Daniel Sternin), roll into town with a plan to burgle all the houses on the street.

This ’90s classic is a staple of yearly festive movies marathons. Like Elf and Love Actually, it’s a foregone conclusion that you’re gonna watch it at some point during the Christmas period.
