If You Love Dogs You Won’t Want To Miss The Late Late Show Tomorrow Night

James Fenton

Dog lovers of Ireland unite. This week’s Late Late Show will see a whole host of furry friends gathering on set to highlight a very worthy cause.

Representatives from Dogs Trust will be chatting to Ryan Tubridy about the harm caused by buying dogs from bad breeders in the lead up to Christmas. They will be joined by some of the dogs who have been rescued by the charity as the plight of the canines is highlighted.

Also appearing will be Taken Down star Blessing Moyo who will talk about her own experiences with direct provision, an issue which is a theme of the new RTÉ show.

Glen Hansard will talk about his new documentary Camino Voyage which follows his journey by traditional currach boat from Ireland to Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain.

Additionally, actress Victoria Smurfit will talk to Ryan about her daughter’s diagnosis of Stargardt’s Macular Dystrophy, an eye condition which eventually leads to blindness.

A jam-packed line-up will also feature Dermot Bannon, Julian Benson from Dancing With The Stars, and Niamh Shaw who will talk about fulfilling her dream of becoming the first Irish woman in space.

If you fancy putting your feet up and catching all of that this Friday night, be sure to have RTÉ One on at 9.35pm.
