You may or not be aware of recent controversy in the social media world with regards to Irish bloggers being caught not using their seatbelt properly or using their phones behind the wheel.
Basically, you can follow it all on Bloggers Unveiled Instagram, arguably Ireland’s most talked about Insta account right now – whether people agree with it or not.
In response to revelations that the Road Safety Authority was forced to send out a ‘reminder email’ to influencers it had paid to promote road safety to follow the rules of the road, it appears the official Gardai Twitter account is also in on the social scoop.
Garda Traffic tweeted a warning earlier to anyone driving over the weekend not to post social media snaps of them driving
“When you get into your car you become a driver… not a #vlogger“
The SASS from this Tweet
Ahead of the bank holiday weekend we (and everyone on your friends list) ask that you stop putting up social media stories of yourself driving. Driving requires all of your attention.

The tweet has over 300 likes and almost 100 retweets
Basically, everyone thinks it’s gas.
And also yeah, listen to them please. Stay safe on the roads and don’t use your phone while driving.
