Irish Mobile Users Warned They Won’t Be Able To Add Data For Four Days Next Week

James Fenton

Vodafone has warned Irish customers about possible disruption to data access next week, the Irish Independent reports.

Technical updates will see users unable to add data to packages for four days from Thursday March 22 meaning they could be denied access to apps such as Whatsapp, Snapchat and Facebook.

A Vodafone service message said that ‘You will not be able to purchase additional data during the update process, this includes instant data bundles.’ However, existing data bundles will continue to work as normal.

The update will also affect customers leaving the country who want to opt in to Red Roaming service during the same timeframe.
