PIC: Irish Restaurant’s Lovely Gesture Yesterday Was Completely Slated By People Online

If you had any sort of interest in hurling or GAA in general, you were probably glued to a television somewhere on Sunday.

As well as this, there’s a good chance that you were watching the game in the pub or in your local restaurant and sure who knows, you might have been skulling some lovely lovely pints while you were at it.

Of a Sunday, what a treat.

Well this Irish Restaurant did something awful sound for its customers at half-time and promised everyone a free stew to pass the time at the break.

Now free food to myself and yourself is winner, winner, but some people were not impressed with what this Restaurant described as a stew.

“There’s ham in this? what the fuck is this monstrosity?”

“Stew on a plate with chips, blasphemy!”

“Looks like water, #fakestews.”

“Who the fuck has chips with stew”

“Worst mash potatoes I’ve ever seen.”

This were some of the responses to the place’s kind gesture which they probably lost a couple of hundred euro on.

If the Pope personally came to our local and pulled a pint of Guinness with his bare hands and handed it to us, free of charge, we’d still find something to give out about.

We’re a miserable bunch.
