Jedward want to re-release Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby) with Niall Horan as he ‘knows all the lyrics’

Still waiting on word back from Simon Cowell, Jedward have said that they want to re-release the track Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby) – naming Mullingar man Niall Horan as a possible collaborator, given that he knows all the lyrics.

Jedward have been having a bit of a mare lately. Missed the drama? I’ll fill you in. Basically, the twins have a bit of a chip on their shoulder as they recently discovered that their cover of the song Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby) has been removed from all streaming services. And the music video deleted for good measure too.

Accusing Simon Cowell of being behind the whole thing, Jedward claim that he’s responsible for destroying their legacy, taking to Twitter to call the X Factor judge out.

“Yo @SimonCowell and @SonyMusicUK Why have you removed our Iconic 1st single Under Pressure Ice Ice baby from all streaming Platforms and deleted the official music video? that’s our legacy! we’re outraged it’s part of Pop culture! We demand a response!”

Still awaiting a response from Simon, the brothers have since told The Sun that they won’t stay quiet on the matter – revealing that they’d like to re-release the song, possibly featuring vocals from Niall Horan. Why? Because he knows the words. As valid a reason to enlist Nialler’s help as any.

“We aren’t going to be silenced. We are making plans to re-record it with Vanilla Ice or Niall Horan because he knows all the lyrics.”

Fair enough.
