Katie Taylor has shared a childhood photo of herself, telling people to "never underestimate" the power of a child's dream.
One of the greats when it comes to Irish sports, Katie Taylor is, for many, the ultimate role model. Standing tall as proof of what hard work and determination can help you achieve, she's the reigning undisputed world lightweight champion - already with an Olympic gold medal, five world championship golds and six European championship golds under her belt as well.
Having inspired countless young sportswomen to follow their passions, the Bray native today shared a throwback photo of herself - advising people not to disregard the conviction of a child's dream.
Pictured donning a pair of red boxing gloves, the snap shows Katie as a youngster alongside the caption:
"Never underestimate the conviction of a dream in a child. Even then, I knew what I was made for."
