Last night’s Late Late Show had people talking for plenty of reasons.
There was host Ryan Tubridy’s ‘grilling’ interview with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar which gained him serious praise.
Michael Bublé confirmed he wasn’t actually retiring from music at all during his own interview – and he even helped a couple get engaged on the show.
During his interview with Ryan, he turned around and said, “I’m not hijacking but I have a serious issue with a person in your audience today.
“There is a guy I see right now in the audience; his name is David O’Reagan…”
He then went over and chatted to him and his girlfriend of six years (who also happens to be a huge Michael Bublé fan), Ashley Kiely, before handing David a little black box.
You can watch the sweet proposal for yourself here:

Later in the show, Michael and his fellow guest David Walliams serenaded the happy couple with a rendition of When I Fall In Love.
