Lewis Capaldi further endeared himself to his Irish fans on Thursday night with a spectacular show at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre.

Capaldi had the crowd in the palm of his hand throughout, cracking them up with his inimitable Scottish humour in between stunning renditions of his hit ballads.

Fresh from the release of extended edition bonus tracks from his massively popular album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, Capaldi took to the Olympia stage with a Guinness in hand and made sure it was a special evening for those in attendance.

It was extra special for one Irish singer, Sean McGrath, who was invited to join Lewis on stage after revealing that it was his birthday.

Sean, who is the lead singer of Dublin-based group Stolen City, didn’t need to be asked twice to get involved in a duet of Capaldi’s song, Bruises.

“I’ll sing the first line and then it’s f*cking all yours,” Lewis said.

True to his word, Lewis let Sean take the lead on the song and the Irishman hit it out of the park, earning well-deserved praise from the Grammy-nominated artist.

Capaldi absolutely loved the performance and rewarded Sean by leading the venue in a rendition of Happy Birthday.

Just when you thought he couldn’t be any more of a legend!
