Lidl Has Warned Customers Not To Engage With A Text Scam Doing The Rounds

Phone users beware. Lidl Ireland has sent out a warning about a text scam doing the rounds which appears to be sent from the supermarket chain. 

The message reads: ‘Happy Wednesday! There is (1) Big Surprise Package waiting for you! Re: UPS-901753-PRIORITY. Last reminder to pick it up >>’ followed by an invitation to ‘tap to load preview’.

While we all feel we’re well able to spot a phone scam doing the rounds, sure isn’t it better to be safe than sorry? Don’t say ya weren’t warned, now.
