Louis Theroux Is Back On RTÉ Tonight With A Hugely Powerful Documentary

If you’re planning a night in front of the telly this evening then you’ll be glad to know that RTÉ has your back.

The station will be showing the final instalment of Louis Theroux’s Altered States documentary series and it’s set to be an emotional one. The episode focuses on the issue of adoption in California as Louis meets families who are paying up to €50,000 to adopt as well as those who are preparing to give up their babies.

Stories of poverty and addiction form the backdrop to the powerful episode and Louis soon discovers how the adoption system is being abused to the benefit of certain people.

As usual when Mr. Theroux appears on our screens, it’s set to be unmissable so be sure and set the recorder if you’re heading out.
