Know any film directors? Tell ’em there’s a job going.
The official James Bond Twitter account has posted to inform fans that Danny Boyle, who had been due to direct the next instalment of the spy series, has left the project ‘due to creative differences’.

Boyle, known for his work on Trainspotting and Slumdog Millionaire, had been working on a script but it appears that the 25th Bond movie is now without a director, which is a fairly important role in the world of moviemaking, let’s be honest.
The film, which is due to star Daniel Craig is his fifth performance as 007 was due for release in autumn 2019 so the clock is ticking to get someone in place before then.
Maybe there’s still time for Cillian Murphy to get involved?
