Miss The Oscars Last Night? You Can Catch All The Best Bits Tonight On RTÉ 2

The 90th Academy Awards took place in Los Angeles last night and as always it’s gotten tongues wagging around the globe.

Obviously, if you’re reading this you have access to the world wide web so we’ll assume you’ve already found out who the winners and losers were. Still, we’re not going to give away any spoilers except to say ‘chin up, Saoirse Ronan, the whole of Ireland is proud of you and your day in the sun will come soon enough. Just ask Leonardo DiCaprio.’

Anyway, highlights from the glitzy ceremony will be shown on RTÉ 2 tonight so you can catch up on everything you missed during your Sunday night slumber. The show includes all the speeches from the big winners as well as memorable performances such Keala Settle’s rousing rendition of This Is Me from The Greatest Showman which left herself and members of her glamorous audience in tears.
