The Most Popular Netflix Documentaries In Ireland Last Year Have Been Revealed

It was a great year for Netflix.

There were plenty of true crime stories to unravel, and we were scared senseless thanks to The Haunting of Hill House.

Add to that Anne with an E with Amy Beth McNulty, a trip back to Litchfield in Orange is the new Black and a heap of drama in Riverdale.

Netflix has released the most popular shows in Ireland last year based on average watch time per session, and the following five true crime docs came out on top.

  1. Making A Murderer
  2. Girls Incarcerated
  3. The Staircase
  4. Evil Genius
  5. Drug Lords

When it comes to Sci-fi, Fantasy and Psychological Thrillers, these were the most watched in 2018:

  1. The Haunting of Hill House
  2. The Rain
  3. Lost in Space
  4. Altered Carbon
  5. Maniac

On a global scale, The Kissing Booth and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before were the most re-watched movies, with nearly 50% of viewers watching them at least twice.
