Two Of Our Favourite Irish Actors Are Finally Starring In A Hollywood Film Together

Sarah

We don’t know how they haven’t acted in the same film just yet, but two of our absolute fave Irish stars are bringing great news to our lives this morning with the announcement that they will be working together on a new Hollywood movie.

We’re talking about none other than Liam Neeson and Colin Farrell, of course.

Variety has reported that Liam Neeson is fully on board, and Colin Farrell is finishing negotiations for the role, and that filming will begin shortly on a remake of the 1980’s mini-series Widows – and it sounds absolutely deadly.

Based on the British series of the same name, the plot of a crime gone wrong follows four armed robbers who are killed in a failed heist attempt, leaving their widows to finish the job.

Farrell’s role is vague at the mo, but is apparently a politician that finds himself mixed up in the widows’ plans.

Viola Davis will also star (she is a shining hero who can do no wrong on any screen <3), as well as Fast & Furious star Michelle Rodriguez, Moonlight’s Andre Holland and Daniel Kaluuya, who stars in the current box office horror hit Get Out.

We’re VERY excited for this one to hit the cinemas.
