You always hear people going on about how the best surfing spots in the world are Australia, Bali, Hawaii yada yada yada... But now Ireland is getting a look in.
We have some of the most rugged coastal scenery to be found across the globe, and wild waves that challenge even the most experienced of surfers.
All that deadliness is being shown off to perfection in new Irish film, Winter Tides, which features Irish surfers Gearoid McDaid and Ollie O'Flaherty doing their thing on the gorge West coast.
Film director Jonny McCann to posted the trailer last week, with the description:
"The west coast of Ireland is home to some of the most amazing surfing in the World. What would it be like to grow up on these shores? And surf these seas everyday? You're about to meet two people who did.
"Winter Tides' is a short film about growing up on the west coast of Ireland and being shaped by the incredible surfing on our doorstep."
"Festivals and film dates to be announced," he added.
Anyone else have the urge to book a trip down to Lahinch?
