Backstreet Boys And NSYNC Have Reunited – To Star In A Western About Zombies

With Boyzone and Westlife currently planning to come together to form Boyzlife, it appears that boyband supergroups are hot again – which might explain how this zombie western starring Backstreet Boys and NSYNC got the green light.

Dead 7 is set in a post-apocalyptic western frontier, where zombies have ravaged the Earth. Our only remaining saviours? The dregs of '90s boybands who crawled from obscurity for the promise of a spotlight.

Made for the Syfy channel by the folks who also created Sharknado, you can expect the zombie flick (which also includes '90s pop stars O-Town and 98 Degrees) to be a kind of so-bad-it's-good guilty pleasure.

But if you're expecting JT to show up, expect to be disappointed. Dead 7 premieres April 1 on Syfy.
