Millions upon millions of people are going to be pretty upset this morning if these reports are anything to go by.Â
The Daily Star is reporting that Ed Sheeran is planning on quitting the music industry to concentrate on living a normal life.Â
A source told the newspaper:
“Ed has pretty much achieved everything there is to achieve in music.
“He absolutely loves what he does and is riding the wave of his success at the moment, but at the same time he wants a more normal life.
The star is currently dating Cherry Seaborn and the source added that he may settle down in the near future:
“When or if he gets married he wants to put his wife and kids first and not his career. If that means going AWOL for years then so be it.”
Ed has been a busy man recently with the recent release of his album Divide as well as performing a pair of sold out shows at Dublin’s 3 Arena. This summer he will headline the iconic Glastonbury Festival in the UK so nobody can really blame him for craving some downtime.Â
For the sake of his legions of fans let’s just hope that any decision to call it quits is temporary.
