Sarah Finnan

Set to take place inside the hallowed 225-year-old walls of St. Michael’s Church, Ballina will come alive to the sound of music for two nights of incredible live performances.

The second year of Other Voices in Ballina, organisers have announced the first four acts on the line-up – naming Elbow, Skinny Living, Denise Chaila and Jesca Hoop for performances over the course of the festival.

Described as “a unique and special opportunity for music lovers”, it gives audiences an up-close and personal look at some of the top national and international performers.

With a focus on stripping back the dramatics and prioritising the musician and the audience, the heart of the festival lies in creating special experiences for all involved.

Tickets will be allocated through competitions in national and local radio, press and online…so cross all your fingers and light a few candles in the hopes of bagging yourself entry.

Good news though as all the happenings from St. Michael’s Church will be live-streamed across multiple locations throughout Ballina. So you can still enjoy the show, even if you don’t manage to land a golden ticket.
