Stereophonics confirmed for Indiependence

Indiependence is the place to be during next year’s August Bank Holiday weekend.

Having already announced Sigrid and The Streets as headliners for the 2020 edition, Indiependence organisers have now confirmed a whole host of huge acts for the Cork festival.

Welsh rockers Stereophonics have been revealed as the latest headliners of the Mitchestown festival, which takes place on the weekend of 31 July, 1 and 2 August.

Stereophonics released their 11th studio album, Kind, two months ago and while it reached Number One in the official UK album charts, fans will be hoping that they will be treated to some of the band’s classic hits like Have A Nice Day, Dakota and Handbags and Gladrags.

Also confirmed for Indie 2020 on Thursday morning were Feeder, King Kong Company, Therapy?, The Hunna, Ryan McMullan, Lyra, The Amazons, Biig Piig and many more.

Tickets for Indie 2020 are already on sale, with full price tickets priced at €159. Early bird tickets for the festival have sold out already.

Last year’s Independence was the most successful in the festival’s history, with headline sets from Lewis Capaldi, Biffy Clyro, Catfish & the Bottlemen and Gavin James packing out the Deer Farm site throughout the entire weekend.
