Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown has announced an Irish tour which will take in six cities in May of this year.
Ian Brown will begin his Irish run at Live At The Big Top in Limerick on Thursday, May 14 before heading to Cork Opera House on Friday, May 15 and Leisureland, Galway on Saturday, May 16. After a night off on Sunday he will then perform at Millennium Forum in Derry on Monday, May 18, Ulster Hall in Belfast on Tuesday, May 19 before wrapping it all up at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on Wednesday, May 20.

Brown rose to prominence as the lead singer of The Stone Roses in the late 1980s. The group were pioneers of the ‘Madchester’ movement and despite only releasing two studio albums, they are remembered for releasing some of the most-loved indie songs to come out of the UK in the last few decades.
Ian Brown went on to achieve solo success, with his 2001 album Music of the Spheres reaching number six in the Irish charts. His latest album Ripples reached number 14 in 2019.
The Stone Roses reunited in 2012 and last played here in 2016 when they performed at Marlay Park in Dublin. Tickets for Ian Brown’s Irish dates will go on sale on Friday, February 28 at 9am and you can get yours here.
