WATCH: This Irish Singer’s Music Video Is A Mental Health Awareness Stunner

Sarah

You may have heard this new tune creeping up the Irish charts by rising Cork singer Stephanie Rainey (you prob remember her heartbreaking video ‘Please Don’t Go’ about losing a loved one which featured Cian Twomey), and it’s a powerful anthem for people struggling with personal issues.

‘100 Like Me’ is “about recognizing that you’re not alone and that you don’t have to battle within yourself to overcome everything. Look around and see that everybody is struggling with something”, Stephanie says.

The video features 13 strangers, who have their own stories of schizophrenia, depression, eating disorders, bullying, homelessness, addiction, anxiety and self-harm.

It also features mental health vloggers Laura Lejeune and Johnny Benjamin, who joined in the filming in London.

Stephanie recently signed to Warner Records, working with songwriters who have written with Ed Sheeran and other huge artists, so you’re sure to see a lot more of this homegrown talent this year.

Check out her inspiring video below:
