You plan on going daft but spending at least one day under the covers embracing ‘The Fear’ from the night before.

Netflix has got you covered because there is some cracking shows coming up this Bank Holiday.

ORIGINAL SERIES

Cocaine Coast (Now Streaming)

In 1980s Galicia, Spain, a young fisherman becomes a prosperous cocaine smuggler by providing Latin American suppliers with a European entry point.

Marching Orders (Now Streaming)

In this adaptation of Jane Austen’s beloved novel, Elizabeth Bennet (Keira Knightley) lives with her mother, father and sisters in the English countryside. As the eldest, she faces mounting pressure from her parents to marry.

When the outspoken Elizabeth is introduced to the handsome and upper-class Mr. Darcy (Matthew MacFadyen), sparks fly. Although there is obvious chemistry between the two, Darcy’s overly reserved nature threatens the fledgling relationship.

Jason Bourne (Now Streaming)

It’s been 10 years since Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) walked away from the agency that trained him to become a deadly weapon. Hoping to draw him out of the shadows, CIA director Robert Dewey assigns hacker and counterinsurgency expert Heather Lee to find him.

Lee suspects that former operative Nicky Parsons is also looking for him. As she begins tracking the duo, Bourne finds himself back in action battling a sinister network that utilizes terror and technology to maintain unchecked power.

Hot Fuzz (Available 4 August)

Loving Vincent (Available 5 August)

LOVING VINCENT is the world’s first fully oil painted feature film. Written & directed by Dorota Kobiela & Hugh Welchman.

The film brings the paintings of Vincent van Gogh to life to tell his remarkable story. Every one of the 65,000 frames of the film is an oil-painting hand-painted by 125 professional oil-painters who travelled from all across the world to the Loving Vincent studios in Poland and Greece to be a part of the production.

As remarkable as Vincent’s brilliant paintings, is his passionate and ill-fated life, and mysterious death.

A Fish Called Wanda (Now Streaming)

British gangster George Thomason (Tom Georgeson) and his hapless aide, Ken Pile (Michael Palin), draft a pair of arrogant Americans, grifter Wanda Gerschwitz (Jamie Lee Curtis) and weapons expert Otto West (Kevin Kline), for a massive diamond heist.

When the job goes badly, Wanda attempts to seduce George’s stuffy lawyer, Archie Leach (John Cleese), to find out where George hid the diamonds. Meanwhile, Ken repeatedly attempts to kill an elderly woman (Patricia Hayes) who witnessed the robbery.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Now Streaming)

In pre-WWI England, a widowed, absent-minded, unsuccessful inventor spruces up a wrecked racing car–which develops the amazing ability to float on water and fly–and plans to take his two children, his girlfriend and the flying automobile on a magical adventure.

When the bullying prince of a middle European nation tries to kidnap the auto and its inventor, he grabs the wrong guy and the wrong car. So the adventure becomes a rescue mission that takes the group and their wonderful car to a strange Oz-like world of castles and pirates, where nothing is as it seems. Based on the children’s story by Ian Fleming.

Bring It On: Fight to the Finish (Available 4 August)

After snooty cheerleading captain Avery (Rachele Brooke Smith) blocks Lina from varsity, Lina recruits her best friends from her old school to help her whip the pathetic junior varsity cheerleading squad — the Sea Lions — into fighting shape.
