Netflix has pulled season two of Derry Girls from the platform as they were ‘a bit early’

Derry Girls

Netflix has said that they may have jumped the gun slightly and have since pulled season two of Derry Girls from the platform.

Season two of Derry Girls hit Netflix last week and to say I was excited would be an understatement. I, like many others, had been waiting for what seemed like an eternity and so naturally I wasted no time in watching the series – managing to binge all six episodes within a matter of hours (my sister can attest to this).

Others were not so on the ball and unfortunately for them, they’ll have to wait a little longer as Netflix has since had to pull season two of Derry Girls from the platform.

Revealing that they were “a bit early”, Netflix took to Twitter to announce that they’ve had to take down the second season, for now, assuring disappointed fans that they’d update them on when it would return very soon.

“UPDATE: it looks like we were a bit early with this one so have had to take season two down for now. We’ll let you know when it’s coming back as soon as we can. In the meantime, it’s available now on All 4.”

Not ideal, Netflix… really not ideal.
