Classic Hits DJ Niall Boylan became embroiled in a heated debate on British TV today over the recent Liam Neeson controversy.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Boylan was attempting to defend Neeson’s much-discussed comments about seeking revenge on black people for a rape that was committed a number of years ago.
Boylan appeared alongside Eastenders star Richard Blackwood and political rights activist Dr. Shola Mos-Shogbamimu and it wasn’t long before the trio started to shout over each other while trying to get their respective points across.
Blackwood tried to compare the situation to Boylan criticising Azealia Banks for recent comments about Irish people to which Boylan responded by saying that the two situations were very different.
Even Piers Morgan struggles to get a word in and, as we all know, that’s saying a lot. You can view this morning’s discussion in full in the two videos below.
‘There’s a very dark side to humans when they suffer from depression, when they suffer from revenge.’

Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu says Neeson deliberately racially-profiled all black people, making it an intentionally racist act. However, she argues it’s important to stop dwelling on the controversy and to find ways to address it instead. pic.twitter.com/fNhAcfmrpB
