Niall Horan has taken to social media to apologise to fans after missing an appearance on The Graham Norton Show on Friday due to illness.
During the episode, host Norton informed viewers that Niall was too unwell to be interviewed, leaving fans concerned about the Mullingar man's health. It seems though that all is well, as Niall has now taken to Twitter to explain his absence. In a post to his 39.5 million followers, he wrote: 'Sorry I couldn’t make an appearance on Graham Norton, guys. The show is shot during the week and I was too ill to get involved. If Graham will have me back, I’ll get on again soon.'

For his part, Norton replied by saying that Niall is welcome any time and he's glad that he's feeling better. After Niall missed out on Friday night, there will some Irish representation on next week's show in the form of Paul Mescal. The actor will be joined by his Normal People co-star Daisy Edgar-Jones, with Will Ferrell and Mark Ruffalo also scheduled to make appearances.
