A very Derry Girls watch party.
Some of the Derry Girls hopped on Instagram live last night to join fans in rewatching the first episode of the hit series. Organised by Nicola Coughlan, who plays Clare Devlin, she put the call out on social media inviting people to join her and her special guests for a Derry Girls watch party.

Giving people a three-second countdown, fans around the world tuned in – diving right into series one, with Nicola giving commentary throughout. She even pulled out the pilot script for good measure.
Nicola was later joined by co-stars Jamie-Lee O’Donnell who plays Michelle and even James the wee English fella played by Dylan Llewellyn.
Treating fans to loads of insider info, they revealed all manner of secrets including everything from who some of their favourite characters are to who breaks character the most (Tommy Tiernan if you’re asking – who apparently is “the worst at laughing”, mostly at himself though).
Thanking everyone for joining in on the fun, Nicola hinted that future watch parties could be on the cards.
“Let me know if you’d like to do another I’d be more than happy to.”
And to that, we say “hells yeah”… one can never watch Derry Girls too many times. NEVER.
