Well, if I didn’t desperately miss the pub, I sure do now. Imagine you’re sitting there, enjoying a regular night down the local and Dolly Parton walks in. I’d faint. I’d simply faint.
Anyway, TikToker The Irish Connection posted a video of the queen of country music herself giving an impromptu performance in a pub in Kerry in 1990. Taking the mic, Dolly proclaims “Welcome to Ireland” and explains how she’s in the country for vacation. She goes on to explain how she wasn’t planning on performing, but one of the pub’s band members asked her to do it, saying that he knew how to play her song Coat Of Many Colours.
