On The Morning Of Chris And Ivan’s Last Newstalk Breakfast, Here’s Our Favourite Segment From 8 Years Of The Show

Ivan Yates and Chris Donoghue are currently in the middle of their final Newstalk Breakfast, ahead of the shakeup in schedule. So this got us thinking about the best bits of the show over the past few years, and this is one we simply had to share.

One particular morning back in October 2014, Chris and Ivan has the nation in absolute stitches over a story about a mobile phone and a coffin. Have a little listen…

The new breakfast lineup will see Newstalk’s political Editor Shane Coleman joined by TV3 news broadcaster Collette Fitzpatrick, INM’s Paul Williams and former Irish Rugby star Alan Quinlan. Business Editor Vincent Wall will remain on his 6:30am – 7 am Breakfast Business slot.

Ivan Yates will be stepping back from his radio presenting and travelling with his wife, Deirdre, for a year, while Chris Donoghue will now co-anchor a new Drive show daily from 4pm, with Sarah McInerney.
