They’re the hardest-working part of the wardrobe.
Skinny, straight, flare, bootleg (hi, 1990s), high-waisted, cropped… Whatever the style, jeans are the central component of so many of our favourite outfits.
While Levis CEO Chip Bergh says that you should never wash your jeans, we can’t help but strongly disagree. He wrote that urged people to “don’t wash your jeans, or significantly reduce your frequency of washing. Or, you can do what I do, and simply spot clean your jeans if they aren’t a total mess.
Chip added that when his jeans really need a wash, “I do it the old fashioned way: I hand-wash them and hang-dry them.”
Think of allllllll the sweat and dirt and shite that gets into the fabric through? People on Twitter are sharing how often they wash their jeans and tbh, we think you’re all rotten.
