This 200-Year-Old Offaly House Has Been Frozen In Time On The Inside

What can be found behind closed doors never ceases to amaze us.

Perhaps you’ll find some bizarrely eclectic decor, a jaw-dropping view, or in this case, a time warp.

This Georgian townhouse on Oxmantown Mall in Birr, Offaly, dates all the way back to the 1820s and, from the looks of its interior, it hasn’t changed a whole lot since.

Complete with its original marble fireplaces, sash windows, Doric columns and a cavernous entertaining room for dinner parties, you feel like you’re stepping onto the set of feckin’ Poldark in this gaff…
