Can you remember rushing home from school every day so that you could be home on time to see a little red-headed puppet getting out of his (or her…) box?
If you were born in Ireland any time in the 70s or 80s then the answer to the above question is most probably ‘yes’. The figure in question is, of course, the legendary Bosco who lit up many an Irish living room back in the day.
The good news is that the rosy-cheeked childhood favourite will be doing that once more with an appearance on The Ray D’Arcy Show tomorrow night in front of, presumably, a somewhat older audience.
Bosco will be speaking about an upcoming tour that was announced a few weeks ago which will take in a number venues across the country.
Also appearing on the show will be Mrs. Brown’s Boys star Eilish O’Carroll and rally driver Rosemary Smith. If you’re at the age where you prefer nostalgia over pints on Saturday nights then make sure to tune into The Ray D’Arcy Show on RTÉ One at 9.50pm.
