One of many stars to join the Small Steps Celebrity Shoe Auction, Ricky Gervais is a longstanding supporter of the humanitarian charity which delivers shoes and emergency aid to children and families who live on landfill sites around the world.
Joining the likes of supermodel Kate Moss and Harry Potter actress Bonnie Wright in donating a pair of their most beloved bróga, Gervais has given a pair of runners he wore in the popular series After Life.
Also worn by his character David Brent in Life On The Road, the shoes are described as “well-loved” and come with the actor’s signature on the outside heel of both boots. So while they technically were made for walking, you’re probably not going to want to wear them for the morning coffee run in the rain.
You can bid on the trainers my character Tony wore in #AfterLife https://t.co/vkvdQ2vYea

Delighting fans with a 20-minute After Life outtake reel earlier this year, the comedian has since confirmed that the upcoming third season of the series will be its final season. Enjoying phenomenal success since first premiering back in March of last year, Netflix renewed the series for a third season after it shot to number one on viewing lists across the world.
