A true Irishman through and through, Hozier has proven that he’s a braver man than most and peeled himself from the bed at the crack of dawn this morning to go and plunge himself into the cold Irish water with the rest of the daily sea swimmers.
Jumping aboard the winter swimrise bandwagon, the talented musician shared a number of snaps from his morning swim, posting three photos to Instagram and captioning them “rise and shiver”.

Understandably needing a little something hot to help him “thaw out” post-swim, the Take Me To Church singer later stopped off at local Greystones favourite The Fat Fox for a cuppa joe to warm him up. Spotted leaving hungry comments under photos of their fanciful cake creations since way back in July, one can only hope that Hozier finally gave in to the cravings and treated himself to a slice of one of their signature bakes for good measure too. Highly recommended.
