RTÉ Chat Show Guests Were Given An Insane Amount Of Alcohol Last Year

Guests on RTÉ chat shows drank €75,000 worth of alcohol last year, the Irish Mirrorreports.

Over half of the figure covered guests on Ryan Tubridy’s The Late Late Show while the rest was made up of those appearing on The Ray D’Arcy Show and Saturday Night With Miriam, which is hosted by Miriam O’Callaghan.

In total, the cost of running The Late Late Show over 37 episodes was €105,312 with The Ray D’arcy Show costing €83,359 over 32 episodes and Saturday Night With Miriam €20,993 over the summer.

RTÉ said that the drinks bills consisted of spirits, wine, beer and soft drinks.
