RTÉ has confirmed its selection of Christmas Day movies for 2017 and if you like animation or sci-fi then you’re in for a festive treat.
On December 25, RTÉ will be leading with timeless Pixar animation Finding Nemo as well as more recent animated tearjerker Big Hero 6.
Later in the evening, Saoirse Ronan stars in the Oscar-nominated Brooklyn.
Over on RTÉ 2, Chris Pratt stars in the critically-acclaimed sci-fi/superhero flick Guardians Of The Galaxy, a movie with an ’80s soundtrack so good it will appeal to the whole family.
The entertainment isn’t limited to the Christmas Day with a whole heap of movies airing throughout the week such as Gone Girl (December 23), Spectre (Christmas Eve), Kingsman: The Secret Service (St. Stephen’s Day), and Birdman (December 28) among loads more. Harry Potter fans will also be treated to a run of Hogwarts movies throughout the week.
