Liverpool are through to their first Champions League final in over ten years.
They did it the hard way but then again, Liverpool don’t like taking the easy route. 7-6 it finished up on aggregate after two high-scoring legs and if you weren’t in Anfield or Italy for either game, your next best bet was watching it on the good old television.
However, anyone who was watching the game on the National Broadcaster’s player were left far from impressed.
In a tight game like this, you can’t afford to miss one second in case a decision, a goal, sending-off occurs but for those who were using the application, it seemed like an absolute struggle from minute one until the last.
@RTEplayer absolutely awful trying to us your player! Doesn’t seem to be an issue showing the ads though. pic.twitter.com/ajKvQeSeam

We’d have loved to have seen their reactions when the Player paused and unpaused during James Milner’s laughable own goal.
But, not to worry, Liverpool fans. Your team is in a Champions League final for feck’s sake. All we can say is God help RTÉ if the Scousers had lost.
