Our breakfast, lunch and dinner all revisited us yesterday after we found out that a cleaner at RTÉ came across a piece of cardboard covered in human waste at the back of a fridge.
As you can imagine, they first discovered the poop when they were trying to get to the bottom of a terrible smell that was lingering around the office.
Apparently, it had been lingering around for weeks too, absolutely rank.
“Keen to get to the bottom of the issue, they located a piece of cardboard smeared with human dung in its fan.”
Fingers were pointing around the office as to who could be the culprit but one RTÉ Star has came out to confirm that it definitely wasn’t him – but he could have a fair idea of who it was if he investigated.
David McSavage – the man behind RTÉ’s hugely successful show ‘The Savage Eye’ told The Irish Sun:
“It wasn’t me. I did not go there in disguise and do this.
“But whoever is responsible is something of a people’s champion to me, because he’s letting TV management know how he feels about the programmes they produce.
“After all, this is where RTE TV get all their ideas from.”
Oh, tough words from a man who has fell out of love with the National Broadcaster.
He does, however, think he could crack the case without the help of any scooby snacks or the gang.
“If they find traces of muesli and yoghurt, well that’s obviously going to be a producer. But studio staff are more likely to be eating egg and chips”.
