The Late Late Show is set to look a bit different this week as Ryan will hop on over to Áras an Uachtaráin for a special interview with President of Ireland Michael D Higgins to celebrate his 80th birthday.
Those behind the show wrote on Twitter, “Next weekend marks @PresidentIRL Michael D Higgins’ 80th birthday and Ryan will be conducting a very special interview with him from Áras an Uachtaráin for Friday night’s #LateLate Show.”

You can catch the special edition of The Late Late Show this Friday, April 16 at 9.35pm.
Meanwhile, TG4 will also air a special programme to mark the 80th birthday of the Irish president. On Sunday night at 9.30pm, the channel will have a one-hour special that will feature some talented Irish poets, musicians, playwrights and dancers.
Musicians who are set to appear include Frankie Gavin and Mairtín O’Connor at Galway’s Town Hall Theatre, Van Morrison, Tullamore singer Tolü Makay, and Iarla Ó Lionáird and Steve Cooney.
