Safety Warning Issued Over Snapchat’s Newest Feature

It seems like every few weeks there are cool new features being added to Snapchat but the latest won’t be popular with everyone.

The Snapchat Map allows you to see the location of those who you are connected with on the app in real-time.

However, the map is reportedly so exact that you can see people’s addresses and concerns have been raised over the safety of the feature – particularly in relation to younger users.

Police in the UK this week advised parents to disable the feature, which is based on the phone’s GPS system, to avoid the risk of it being used for stalking.
