Sarah Jessica Parker is working with Love Island producers on a new dating show

Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker is working on a new project with Love Island producers, heading up her own dating show. A reality Sex and the City of sorts, at least that’s how I envision it.

Former Sex and the City star (she’ll always be Carrie Bradshaw to me) Sarah Jessica Parker is working on her own reality dating show. Teaming up with the producers behind Love Island, the project is described as a “social experiment in love and location”. Sounds intriguing…

Called Swipe Swap, the show follows the same idea as the similarly named Wife Swap and will see two singletons trade lives in their pursuit of love. Moving into each other’s houses, they’ll also meet each other’s families and friends as they try to find romance in a new place. All to show that there are, in fact, plenty of fish in the sea and perhaps the problem is that people just aren’t looking in the right places.

While SJP won’t actually be on screen herself, she’ll act as executive producer of the show and having spent several years playing Carrie Bradshaw, the dating queen of NYC, she’s bound to be a wealth of knowledge when it comes to finding love.
