‘Scrubs’ Fans Rejoice – J.D. And Turk Are Back On Your TV Every Weeknight

James Fenton

With Friends now on Netflix and countless old American comedies such as The Simpsons (when it was good, RIP) and Fresh Prince Of Bel Air constantly repeated out tellyboxes, there was still one classic sitcom missing. Until now.

There was a time when we couldn’t turn on E4 without seeing old episodes of surreal hospital comedy Scrubs and frankly there was a little bit of overload.

But now, after a few years in the doldrums, we’re delighted to announce that we’ve spotted that Comedy Central Extra are now showing a double-header of the Sacred Heart gang every Monday to Friday from 7pm.

The new run is starting right back from season 1 when J.D., Elliot and Turk were fresh-faced interns coming out of medical school and it’s giving us a welcome dose of nostalgia in the evenings.

With a perfect balance of laugh-out-loud moments to sentimental scenarios which will bring a tear to your eye, it’ll make you wonder why it ever went away.

To refresh your memory and get you in the mood, check out some of the best bits of Scrubs below.
